*Precalculus Pre-AP uses graphing calculators frequently. The preferred calculator is the TI-83/84 or TI-83/84+. Please do not get a TI*89 since it cannot be used on the SAT.
*If students are absent on the class-day before a test, they are expected to take the test on the scheduled day.
*Students are eligible to increase tests grades if they score below a 75 on the original test. In order to do this they must:
>have all assignments turned in
>have come in for tutoring to correct the errors on the test during office hours
>come to take a "six-week" test on one scheduled day
The six-week test will have a portion for each of the tests given during the six-week period. The students takes only the portion or portions they did poorly on the first time around. They may score up to 75 for each portion.
*Late work is reduced 10% each calendar day it is late for 5 days. Work may be turned in up until the Friday before the last week of the grading period. Work turned in after 5 days
*Reviews are recorded as quiz grades. Therefore they are not accepted as late work.
